Lodge Musical Evening '09

Hmm.
Another year, another Musical Evening.
I attended as an RC member and not a performer this time. :(
SAD.

But this year's Musical Evening was such a disappointment!
I don't know why...?
Of course, International performances was the best!
*Sorry I'm biased to intl. :P*

But National school's performances was not bad too.
The higher secondary I mean.
Just a bit bland and repetitive.
Primary was the same as usual..

Ugh. Some prefects were so unbearable.
They tried to chase us out, but we made excuses and stayed for the whole show! ^^
Me, William, Doddy and Luthfi just crashed next to Dalvin (he's helping with the projector) the whole night ^^.
Then Ju Hyun and Jack came and sat down after their performances, and this stupid annoying prefect was like "Do you have tickets?"
I was like stare. "They're performers."
"No! Even if they're performers, they still have to have tickets!"
I was like 'wtf. Without them, there wouldn't even BE a damn performance.'

They spoiled nearly the whole night. Losers.

Sasha went for the rehearsal night last night.

I fell asleep at 8.30pm.

Woke up at 8.12am.

And still feel sleepy. :/

OH, OH, Last night , I skipped to the last few episodes of Il Ji Mae.
The beginning and climax part was totally awesome.

I was totally ADDICTED even though it's like a period drama.

The added plus was that Lee Joon Ki was acting in it.

He's so hot! ! :))

*sighs*

But I was soooooooo disappointed with the ending!

It SUCKED! .....to put it simply.

Grr I hate it when movies are like that.

They make you feel so in suspence and waiting for the end and then.......

The ending sucks!

Dad just told me : Tonight is Bak Chang Festival Day.
Lols we were eating early at Lee Ming mah.
Then we saw lotsa people even though it was only 5 smthg.
Mum and Dad are going to 4 Points tonight.

Add Math test Day

I haven't been online recently. Haha.
Been busy.
Yesterday night, I was supposed to revise my Add Math for the quiz the next day....
and do my econs homework which is like 5 chapters and due THE NEXT DAY
But I feel asleep at 7.30 cos I was soooo sleepy.
And woke up at 9.31pm and then fell back to sleep again
Till like 5 smthg am the next morning.

So the next morning was a HUGEEEEE rush to look through my add math.
As usual, the quiz was a total photocopy of the "revision" questions
except one question, the last question, which I practically died for.
I can't remember how to differentiate and integrate the exponential function of natural log.
I'm so screwed.
Bloody hell.
The test is on Kinematics btw.

I calculated the amount of marks tht I stand to lose. :(
I don't wanna say, later my mum read my blog and kills me.

Luckily, Mr Lim postponed the due date for our exercise book PHEWWWWWW!
But it's due on Monday so gotta do Econs for the WHOLE weekend. CELAKA.
Econs is one of my MOST hated subjects ok...

Personally, I don't get the point of having Red Crescent on duty during Musical Evening.

Physics today

Oh did I mention.
We had Mr Pan *our new headmaster* sitting in for our Physics class today.
It was so unnaturally quiet.
I swear, this has to be the FIRST physics class since the beginning of IG1 that I actually paid attention to.
Usually during Physics, the lesson just flies over my head ==
I don't get what he's teaching either ok.

Today, I can tell you that we started learning about CROs and the Maltese something tube which is used to show that using Fleming's left hand rule to erm, show that electrons move in a straight line? Something like that.

Teacher's Day

Yesterday we had our Teacher's Day + Mufti Day in school.
I helped Mel with the fashion show so we had to go to school early, as in by 7AM.
I was surprised to find people already there so early. :PP

So we ruuuuuuushed to get their hair and makeup ready.

The show was a mind-blowin' success!

Friends

What is the definition of friends?

In my opinion, I find that more and more people nowadays forget about this meaning, especially during high school times. Why is it that being popular is more important? What's so great about having legions of friends/fans? Who knows whether they're really loyal to you.

I don't care if I only have less than 10 friends, as long as I know that they're true to me.

It disgusts me to see how so many people turn their backs on their friends whom they've known their whole lives, or who are closest to them just to achieve this so-called popularity. What's so great about being at the top of the social hierachy? You know that you're gonna fall off your podium sooner or later.

Geez man. What's wrong with the world nowadays? Grow up people please. And open up your eyes BIG-BIG OK?

I agree that psychologically speaking, everyone needs friends. But is it to the extent of where you would steal other people's friends and backstab your own just for that one shot in a million up that disgusting ladder? Why are people selling themselves so cheap?

I thought friendship was based on values, trust and mutual liking. I don't like watching these kind of movies on TV or any form of media. That's why I never liked Gossip Girl or all those bimbo-istic movies.

It takes years to build trust and only a second, to destroy it.

Is that what we really want from life? To live an empty, desolate life, just pining for others' approval?

I don't wanna live like that.

BM IGCSE Paper 2

Yeah today we had our BM IGCSE Paper 2, Reading and Directed Writing. It was okay la.

But halfway during exams, the kids were out and let me tell you, it was bloody hell noisy.

I had this monstrous headache from all that noise. ==

At one point, I heard Sha's voice so CLEARLY. I was so embarrassed!!! >O<

Mr Ling had to go out multiple times to shout at the kids.

It was the first time I heard him shout and he sounded so scary. O.O

He's usually very amicable lol. Guess exams does this to teachers plus students? Haha....

Familiarity breeds contempt.

It is better to regret your actions than regret doing nothing at all.

I'm running on a really high streak of anger and frustration right now, with my head pounding like a thousand horses running on it.

How's school?

I'm really so tired.
And I have no idea why. :(
School has been so boring.
Lately, I ask myself why the heck am I going to school for?
My Chemistry teacher, Mrs Ong, is sick and we're having this sub teacher, Mdm Chiong.
I miss Mrs Ong.
She was strict but she sure as hell knew how to teach.

And Mdm Kathy's gone too.
Mdm Kathy's Bio lessons were really resourceful.
I used to get bored in her classes, but I looked forward to them. *I miss Mdm Kathy. TOT
We got this new Bio teacher, called Ms Frances Tan.
She's the same age as my sis!! *gasp*
25 this year.
She's okay la.
A graduate from Melbourne U, if I'm not mistaken.

Physics, oh god do we have to start on this?
My physics is a gone case.
Luckily, mum and dad agreed that I can say "byebye physics" next year.
I don't get all those electricity shit.
What the heck.

Well, Ms Ellaine is same old, same old. :)
Thank god I'm not doing too badly in practical.

English is as yawn as ever.
Same goes for BM.
I just go "ZZZZzzzzzzzz"

I'm trying my very best to stay awake and listen during econs.
I hope something's processing through my thick skull or else I'm supremely screwed.

Add Math is a blur.
We're studying about vectors now.
I'm not following Mr Law at all.
I'm just gonna go at my own pace.
I just finished Differentiation and Integration (not all those differentiate sin and stuff though :S)
Now, I'm at Kinematics.
I don't get what he teaches sometimes.
So i'll just go at my own pace.
No need to speed or anything.

G Math is pretty okay.
I think I'm improving in my angle properties!! YAY!!
Except the symmetry thingy, something something cutting the cube into 9 parts thingy.
Starting to get used to it though.

I'm not gonna say anything about Citizenship or PE.
Since they're pretty irrelevant anyways.
