Well that's what my parents told me la. They're big fans of American Idol too. :p

Yeah, today was boring.

Went to the club, read magazines, tried studying, swam.

Bleh.

Then went to Spring where the dumbest thing happened.

I was buying donuts from Big Apple Donuts.

Then when I was paying at the cashier, the guy started to speak Mandarin to me.

The words just zoomed by me, and the only word that I heard and understood was "qian" which meant money.

I looked at the guy and girl with this totally blank look on my face.

So he spoke to me in BM.

So I replied in mixed BM.

The cashier was like "Dari mana?"
Me : "Dari...sini?" *eyebrows shooting up*

Then he was like "Bangsa apa?"

Me : "erm, Cina?" *eyebrow twitches*

Girl : "But your face is Chinese face!"

Me : "Yeah, I am Chinese."

Girl : "HAAAAAAH? You are Chinese but can't speak Chinese??!?!?!?"

Me : "=.="

I am wondering why people are questioning my nationality and race so much lately. =.=
